For too long, black metal has lacked its own great love song. After all, even the tr00est of the tr00 crave affection, empathy, to know and to be known. Why shouldn’t there be a ballad for the church burning set?
Although we don’t know what took so long, we do know that Witch Taint, a band with so much street cred they break the sidewalk*, finally pulled the trigger this year with “Ready 4 Lvv,” a track from their debut full-length, Sons of Midwestern Darkness. It’s a scalding hot song that puts the “ov” in “love.”
Now the track has a video, which we’re engorged with excitement to be premiering on MetalSucks today. And if you thought the song without visuals was arousing, wait’ll you see this thing. The “Ready 4 Lvv” music video is gonna end up being responsible for more babies than Amy Coney Barrett.
So go someplace private where you won’t be embarrassed to climax and hit “play” on the video below! It was directed by The Twyford-Rigleys of Part Time Hooligan, and edited by Stephanie Twyford-Rigley. Stephanie also appears in the video as “Black Metal Bride” alongside Lance the King of Black Metal, Matthias Backwards, Monique Dupree aka Tha Original Gata as themselves.
Sons of Midwestern Darkness is out now on Tee Pee Records! Order the CD, download, or stream the full album here.
*Yeah, we don’t know what it means, either. Just go with it.
