As Pallbearer get ready to release their newest album, Forgotten Days, on October 23, the band are unveiling a series of behind-the-scenes videos about the making of the album. Filmed back when we could all sit next to each other on a couch without being paranoid the person next to you has the cooties, the latest installment — which MetalSucks is premiering today — focuses on the gear the band used to record the album with producer Randall Dunn (Sunn O))), Boris, etc.) at Sonic Ranch studios. Gear nerds: this one’s for you!

Check out the clip below, and have a listen to the singles “The Quicksand of Existing,” “Rite of Passage” and “Forgotten Days.” If you want to hear more about the process of recording the album, listen to our recent episode of The MetalSucks Podcast with Pallbearer guitarist/vocalist Brett Campbell as our guest.
