Following their Splendour XR debut over the weekend, Amyl and the Sniffers have share their new single Security. The song is the latest offering from their forthcoming second album Comfort To Me – released September 10 via the band’s own label B2B Records.
Amyl and The Sniffers also announce a special livestream event on October 5 – a filmed performance of Comfort to Me, played in full, in one take, on a slab of concrete in a suburban wasteland somewhere in Melbourne, Australia.

German seems to be the flavour of the month for my reviews lately, and here we have another German act by the name of Lord of the Lost with their double album Judas. Now, I’d go into some of the info from their press release, but it’s littered with some weird German words that I just don’t understand. The one bit I did understand is something thatsounded German, but is actually just two English words put together, and that was “genrefluid”.

For nearly four decades German thrash outfit Destruction have held sway with their brutally uncompromising brand of metal. 
Unlike many of their peers who either refuse to or are wary of embracing modern technology, earlier this year Destruction performed a livestream concert, Live Attack, at the legendary Z7 venue in Pratteln (Switzerland).
